Well over a thousand youth-serving organizational staff, Boards, and volunteers have received training from Becky Cooper and SAFE Mentoring. Many have attended conference presentations around the country, while others have received comprehensive “Certified Training” and follow-up support and now serve as SAFE ambassadors and educators in their local community. Michigan State University Extension: SAFE curriculum is used for MSU extension courses.
MENTOR: Starting in 2015, 18 state partnerships that are affiliated with MENTOR took part in a Certified Training process which included comprehensive training, webinars, and ongoing support to provide SAFE awareness in their state communities. Partnership groups included:
